By registering an account, submitting an entry, or otherwise using this website (baf.ficci.in), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Rules & Eligibility.

We collect only what is needed to run the awards fairly:

• Account details — representative name, email address, phone number, profile type (individual or studio/organisation), organisation legal name and country of registration.
• Entry details — project titles, categories, release/completion dates, synopses, credits, and links to your work (secure streaming links and supporting-document links you provide).
• Payment information — entry-fee transactions are processed by an external payment gateway; we receive confirmation of payment status and reference numbers, not your full card details.
• Technical data — a minimal session is stored in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in; we do not use invasive tracking.

• To create and manage your account and process your entries.
• To evaluate submissions through the jury and organising committee.
• To communicate with you about your entries, payments, nominations and the ceremony.
• To process entry-fee payments and issue receipts/invoices (including GST where applicable).
• To promote the awards using approved materials, as described in the Usage Rights section of the Rules — always retaining your ownership of the underlying work.
• To comply with legal, tax and audit obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. It may be shared only with:

• The FICCI BAF jury and organising committee, for evaluation.
• Our payment gateway provider, solely to process entry-fee payments.
• Authorities or advisors where disclosure is required by law or to protect the integrity of the awards.

The site and its data are hosted on infrastructure provided by the organiser. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. No online transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use browser local storage to keep your session and draft entries available while you use the portal. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out and remove locally saved drafts.

Entries are shared as links to third-party platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube and Google Drive. These services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover their handling of your data. Please review their terms before uploading or sharing content.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our need to retain records for the integrity of the awards and legal compliance. To make a request, contact FICCI using the details below.

We retain account and entry information for the duration of the FICCI BAF Awards 2026 cycle and thereafter as required for archival, audit, legal and historical records of the awards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
